Where else would Ed Sheeran shoot a video for "Galway Girl"? The singer/songwriter headed to Galway, Ireland, to film a music video for his Irish folk-meets-hip-hop Divide track this week, and he thanked the town's "wonderful people" for their help.

Sheeran, who collaborated with Irish band Beoga to give the track its traditional folky vibe, took over the town for the video shoot, with a swarm of happy locals tagging along.

Shooting in various locations, Sheeran made sure to stop by the local O’Connors pub to film a few scenes as fans got a little sneak peek of the video.

Sheeran thanked the people of Galway for the visit with his own Instagram post on Wednesday (April 12).

Thank you to Galway and all the wonderful people in it for helping us shoot a music video yesterday x

With the video shoot, it looks like "Galway Girl" could be the third single from Divide, following runaway Billboard Hot 100 hit "Shape of You" -- which is in its 11th week at No. 1 on the chart -- and just-announced follow-up single "Castle on the Hill."
