Before Harry Styles even dropped his highly anticipated debut solo track "Sign of the Times" on Friday (April 7), the promotion of the single began. Styles sat down with BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw to talk about his new material, during which the radio host also managed to hear a little bit about Styles' experience with his fellow Brit superstars Ed Sheeran and Adele.
While Sheeran and Styles never got the chance to work together in the studio for Divide or for Styles' debut album, Styles told Grimshaw that he still recruited the "Shape of You" singer to get some input for his record.
“I played [Ed] a few songs after the album was finished. I didn’t see him for a bit because I was away," Styles said. "He didn’t say that he didn’t like any but he did like one song that isn’t on the album. So I did have a bit of a minute of like hmmm no but…”
