It's an embarrassment of riches for fans of Lorde and Jack Antonoff. First, we got "Green Light" and "Liability" from Lorde's upcoming sophomore album Melodrama, both co-written with Antonoff, and now we have a taste of the next album from Antonoff's band Bleachers, just-released single "Don't Take the Money," and it's featuring (and reportedly co-written by) Lorde. What more could you ask for?

Before the song officially arrived at midnight ET, Bleachers sent fans on a scavenger hunt in New York, which led to an Antonoff piñata filled with USB drives containing the new single. You can follow along with the hunt over on Stereogum, and now that the new song is officially here, go ahead and click play below instead of beating it out of an Antonoff effigy.

Bleachers' yet-to-be-titled sophomore album, the follow-up to breakthrough set Strange Desire, is set to arrive sometime this year, and this single makes it feel closer than ever.
