Katy Perry is continuing her "purposeful pop" era with a rallying cry. On Mar. 1, the "Rise" singer teased audio of isolated vocals on her Instagram story, which was captured by a fan page and shared on Twitter.

The 11-second snippet of Perry chanting, “I won’t, no, I won’t apologize / I will not, will not subscribe / Don’t ask me, ask me to normalize,” falls in line with her lyricism from her current hit "Chained To The Rhythm" (which currently sits at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100). Both songs are likely to appear on the singer's highly anticipated fifth studio album -- her first since 2013's Prism. Take a listen to the snippet of the new track:

Previously, Perry revealed that recording "Chained To The Rhythm" helped her overcome depression after Hillary Clinton's failed bid to become president and the subsequent election of Donald Trump (Perry was a staunch surrogate for the former and highly critical of the latter). It seems like she's back in the studio to express more of her rage, which hopefully will translate to another No. 1 hit.
