Kanye West arrives to attend Givenchy's Fall/Winter 2014-2015 men's fashion show in Paris on Jan. 17, 2014.

In the past few years, Kanye West has seriously turned to fashion as a form of expression, which is all fine by Sia -- so long as no animals are hurt in the process.

Sia tweeted to the hip-hop superstar requesting he go "fur free" just in time for his highly anticipated Yeezy Season 5 line's New York Fashion Week showcase on Wednesday (Feb. 15).

The Yeezy show featured models clad in everything from fur-trimmed vests to floor-sweeping mink coats strut the runway. As someone seemingly interested in all steps of the fashion process, apparently Sia thought West would like to see where all that fur comes from and sent along a video that uncovers the process behind making fur fashion, including graphic footage of rabbits getting confined, shocked, numbed, hung upside down and eventually killed.

"This is the reality of fur for fashion - it's so sad," Sia wrote.

This is not the first time the singer has blasted another musician for the mistreatment of animals. In December, Azealia Banks posted a bizarre video of herself cleaning out a wardrobe covered in what seemed to be chicken remains. Sia immediately responded on Twitter, saying, "Sacrificing animals for your gain is the wackest shit I’ve ever heard."

Sia has been a long-time supporter of animal rights. She is a vegan and frequent collaborator with PETA. In May 2016, she donated $50,000 to a Survivor finalist who showed his opposition to animal cruelty adamantly throughout the season.
