Ed Sheeran Covers The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Theme Song

If you’ve ever wondered what the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song would sound like acoustically, Ed Sheeran has the answer for you: still amazing.

The singer-songwriter was making an appearance on the Capital Evening Show With Roman Kemp, for the U.K.’s Capital FM, when a fan made the request. Though it was improvised, Sheeran performed it so seamlessly that it begs the question: Has he done this before?

His fun cover followed Sheeran’s earlier announcement of the track list for his upcoming album Divide (which Sheeran revealed will be released March 3). He released two tracks last week -- “Shape of You” and “Castle on the Hill” -- which both debuted on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 last week.
