It's Okay, Taylor Swift is Also Freaking Out About Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You'

It might feel like you're the only one wearing a hole in your index finger hitting play over and over again on Ed Sheeran's new single, "Shape of You," but rest assured you've got plenty of company -- real famous company, in fact.

Just hours after Sheeran posted his first new music in nearly two years one of his A-list pals weighed in on how she's feeling about the easy, breezy track slated for Sheeran's upcoming album.

Taylor Swift, who took Sheeran out as an opening act on his first major U.S. tour in 2013 and has since become besties with the red-headed guitar slinger, all-cap tweeted on Friday morning (Jan. 6) that the majesty of the song had completely upended her life.

"OH MY GOD OKAY IT'S HAPPENING," she wrote. "EVERYBODY STAY CALM."

T Swift isn't the only one freaking out. Twitter has been flooded with a barrage of memes from Sheerios who just can't. "Shape," along with the other new single, "Castle on the Hill" -- which immediately shot to No. 1 and No. 2 on iTunes, respectively -- are slated for Sheeran's upcoming album, which may be called Divide.
