Jacob Sartorius

After the explosive popularity of musical.ly, teenage sensation Jacob Sartorius is now taking his music career to the next level. The 14-year-old singer has big plans for 2017, as he will release a new EP and also head out on his first ever headlining world tour.

The title track off the EP, "Last Text" -- which Sartorius is sharing exclusively with Billboard -- gives listeners a taste of his youthful and smooth vocals, accompanied by a simply strummed acoustic guitar, at least for the verses. The chorus adds color to the otherwise stripped-down track, as Sartorius sings to his crush, "You're always the last text that I send before bed."

In the lyric video, which takes the lyrics literally, Sartorius lays in bed with his face dimly illuminated by his phone screen while he sends his last text, as promised, before he falls asleep.

The EP The Last Text will be available to preorder Dec. 23; the album is due out Jan. 20. Additionally, tickets for his tour, which kicks of Jan. 26, can be found here. In the meantime, watch the lyric video for "Last Text" below.
