Zayn Malik visits SiriusXM's Hits 1 at SiriusXM Studio on Dec. 14, 2016 in New York City.

SiriusXM Hits 1 had a surprise guest this morning: Zayn Malik stopped by the Morning Mash Up to discuss working with Taylor Swift, dating Gigi Hadid, holiday shopping and more.

Malik also hinted that new music is on the way. When asked “What’s next for you?” he responded “Hopefully new music… I’m in the studio at the minute working on the second record.”

The British crooner didn’t elaborate on any possible collaborations, but fans can expect “exciting stuff.” Malik also revealed that “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” featuring Swift, will soon have a video.

On Tuesday, Malik appeared on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show to discuss his evolution as an artist. "I'm enjoying what I'm doing at the minute. There were times when I was in the band that I needed time away to get my thoughts," Malik said of his One Direction days. “I feel myself growing every day as a person, growing older and wiser."
