Golden Coast

Rising Los Angeles based indie-pop duo Golden Coast -- comprised of Steven Mudd and Denny White -- first touched down with their glorious, fire-starter singles "Recess" and "Comeback Kid," produced by platinum-selling songwriter/producer Dan Book (Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, The Knocks), earlier this year.

Today, the fast rising act return with the release of their full debut, self-titled Golden Coast EP, premiering exclusively via Billboard two days before its official release on Friday, December 9.

With over 7 million total streams on YouTube and 4 million on Spotify to date, as well as earning syncs in Pretty Little Liars and iZombie, the buzzy act is ending 2016 on a very high note. "We're super excited to share our first collection of songs with everyone. We've been releasing singles since we started this thing, so to have a cohesive body of work that fans can interact with feels pretty satisfying," they tell Billboard.

As for their favorite unreleased tune in the set? "'Make Ya Move' was our attempt to throw off some of the traditional rules and do something that was just purely fun. We kind of tried to channel our inner Macklemore or Bruno [Mars] and talk a little over-confident swagger."

Give the sunny set a spin and keep an eye on the duo to make even bigger moves in the new year.
