Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello Support Selena Gomez After Touching AMA Speech

Selena Gomez touched a lot of hearts at Sunday night's (Nov. 20) 2016 American Music Awards show when she opened up about the struggles that have kept her out of the public eye for several months. Accepting her award for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, Gomez said, "I think it's safe to say that a lot of you know a lot of my life whether I liked it or not and I had to stop. Because I had everything, and I was absolutely broken. And I kept it together and I swore I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down." Gomez continued, "I'm not trying to get validation, nor do I need it anymore."

That speech drew loud cheers of support from the crowd and a shot of Lady Gaga seemingly holding back tears as she reacted to Gomez's emotional words. Gaga followed up with a touching Instagram snap of the two of them sharing a hug backstage. "So dope I got to hang with with the biggest rockstar of the night. (Ya,know besides Sting and Green Day) ...the girl with the biggest prize of all a BIG Heart that she shares with the world," Gaga wrote.

Selena's pal Taylor Swift also reportedly posted an Instagram story of her reaction to her BFF's words captioned "baby."
