'AGT' Winner Grace VanderWaal's Debut EP, 'Perfectly Imperfect,' Coming Dec. 2
The debut EP from America's Got Talent winner Grace VanderWaal, Perfectly Imperfect, is due out on Columbia Records on Dec. 2. The 12-year-old singer who captured the season 11 crown, and America's heart, with her intensely personal songs and preternatural talent tweeted about the realization of her dream coming true and promising that this is "just the beginning" of what we can expect from her.
The album will be available for pre-order on Friday, Nov. 18 and preorders come with an instant download of the tween's early signature song, "I Don't Know My Name." A spokesperson for Columbia said the full track listing for the EP will be released on Friday. After winning the show, VanderWaal was signed by Columbia and Syco Music, whose boss, Talent judge Simon Cowell, dubbed her the "next Taylor Swift" on the show.
VanderWaal will bring along her ukulele as a headliner on the America's Got Talent Holiday Spectacular, airing 8 p.m. EST Dec. 19 on NBC. She'll be joined by a who's who of AGT fan favorites, including crooner Sal Valentinetti, who will collabo with judge Heidi Klum for a seasonal treat of his own.
