As many Americans try to move on from the aftermath of Tuesday's election, Willow Smith has channeled her emotions into "November 9," a short but timely uplifting song released on Sun. (Nov. 13) to her Soundcloud, attempting to encourage angered Americans in the wake of the election day results.

"I wrote this song on the day of the election," Willow captioned the track. "Peace and revelations to all!" The sweeping melody opens with Willow singing to young girls: "Baby girl I know you're tired, don't let the world put out your fire." Over a haunting, minimal arrangement, she continues to plead: "Take my hand and you will see, sadness and anger aren't everything."

The youngest of the Smith clan recently joined her brother Jaden Smith to protest the Dakota Access Pipeline, and also teamed up with Dev Hynes, Zoe Kravitz and more for Okayplayer's anti-gun campaign with Every Town.
