Justin Bieber, Rihanna Nab American Music Awards Artist of the Year Nods: See the Final Five

After four weeks of voting, fans have selected the nominees for the highly anticipated Artist of the Year award for the 2016 American Music Awards. Justin Bieber and Rihanna will battle it out against Carrie Underwood, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande to take away the title on Sunday, Nov. 20.

Rihanna has already racked up seven nominations while Bieber trails behind with five nominations. Underwood settles in with three nominations and Gomez with two. Although Grande only has one AMA nod, the singer is set to take the stage with Nicki Minaj for their steamy collaboration "Side to Side," which sits at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Nov. 19).

The star-studded affair will also see performances from Fifth Harmony, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Bruno Mars, Twenty One Pilots and on-stage collaborations from Maroon 5 and Kendrick Lamar as well as The Chainsmokers' and Halsey with their record-breaking No. 1 hit "Closer."

Fans can vote for the Artist of the Year category at AMAvote.com up until Thurs. November 17th at 8:59pm PT.
