Stephen Colbert is jumping networks on election night and he's bringing along some big guns to help him cover the results. Due to being pre-empted by the showing of real-time results on CBS, Colbert is hosting a live special on Showtime, Stephen Colbert's Live Election Night Democracy's Series Finale: Who's Going To Clean Up This Sh*t? at 11 p.m. ET.

Among the guests joining him on the special broadcast are Katy Perry, actors Jeff Goldblum and Nick Offerman, former late-night host Larry Wilmore, comedians Patton Oswalt and Jena Friedman and radio personality Charlamagne Tha God. Also on the bill is Elle King, who will sit in with house band Jon Batiste and Stay Human.

The host will have some expert political pundits on hand to parse the results, in the form of Mark Halperin and John Heilemann (managing editors of Bloomberg Politics) and Mark McKinnon of Showtime's campaign documentary series The Circus. Showtime will also live-stream Colbert's uncensored monologue on Facebook Live, as the late-night host reacts in real time to the election results.
