Taylor Swift's voice is powerful enough to lure thousands of fans to her concerts and though she's been relatively quiet during the election season, the singer is using her power to help encourage people to vote on Election Day. The singer took to her Instagram account Tuesday (Nov. 8) to spread the message to her 92.9 million fans.

The photo sees a casually dressed Swift waiting in line by a sign that read "VOTERS ENTRANCE" to cast her vote. "Today is the day", she captioned the photo. "Go out and VOTE us."

The night before performing her civic duty, Swift threw a birthday party for fellow singer (and BFF) Lorde, also sharing a picture of a birthday card she made for the "Royals" singer. She may have been alone at the polls, but Swift is one loyal American and best friend.
