If you were concerned The Weeknd would be left out of the All-Star lineup of performers at this year's American Music Awards, worry no more: The "Starboy" singer will be taking the stage at the AMAs on Nov. 20.

In an exclusive Facebook Live announcement on the show's page, The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) was revealed as yet another hitmaker who will be performing on this year's AMAs. The show has been using social media to announce each performer gradually, but this time was perhaps the most elaborate, as a Weeknd superfan got a tattoo of the singer's signature "XO" logo to unveil him as an AMA performer.

The Weeknd -- a two-time AMA winner, with three more nominations this year -- will join previously announced performers Twenty One Pilots, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, The Chainsmokers and Halsey, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, Shawn Mendes, Green Day, Fifth Harmony, and “The American Music Award of Merit” honoree and performer Sting.

The 2016 AMAs will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20, broadcasting live from the Microsoft Theater at 8:00pm ET on ABC. Watch the Facebook Live announcement below.
