Meet Rodes Rollins. The Los Angeles-via-New York artist first arrived with a feature on global club/dance artist Branko's track "Out Of Sight (So Right)" last year. Today, she makes her official solo debut, with the release of her stunning first single "Young & Thriving," premiering exclusively via Billboard.
Much like the ephemeral tremelo of her guitar, the track tells a tale of the fleeting nature of beauty and youth -- part spaghetti western, part psychedelic -- and recalls the likes of Nancy Sinatra, Lana Del Rey, and Angel Olsen. Warpaint's Stella Mozgawa also plays drums on the tune, which appears off the singer-songwriter's forthcoming EP Young Adult, produced by Alex Goose (Kevin Gates, Weezer).
