Mariah Carey Cancels Most of Her Latin America Tour
"To all of my lambs in South America, I am devastated that a portion of this tour had to be cancelled."
Mariah Carey is canceling concerts in Brazil, Argentina and Chile on her Latin America tour.
According to E! News reports, the singer is citing promoter negligence as the reason.
"To all of my lambs in South America, I am devastated that a portion of this tour had to be cancelled," Carey told E! News. "Thank you for all of the excitement and love—I hope to see you soon, my darlings!"
The dates are part of Carey's The Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour she kicked off in Europe earlier this year. She had been scheduled to perform on Oct. 28 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Oct. 30 in Santiago, Chile, and on Nov. 1 and 5 in São Paulo and Porto Alegre, Brazil, respectively.
Carey will still be performing in Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico, in November.
All canceled tickets will receive refunds.
