Adele Dedicates Her Show to Brangelina: 'It's the End of an Era'
"I need to address the elephant in the room," she told the crowd at Madison Square Garden.
Adele dedicated her concert at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, in honor of the recent news that the famous duo will divorce.
"I need to address the elephant in the room," she told the crowd, "but it's the end of an era."
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences.
The AP reported that Jolie's attorney Robert Offer said Tuesday that she'd filed for dissolution of the marriage, with a decision made "for the health of the family." The actress is asking for physical custody of the couple's six children, according to TMZ, and her legal filing lists the date of separation as Sept. 15.
