Adele Remembers Amy Winehouse on What Would Have Been Her 33rd Birthday

Amy Winehouse would have turned 33 on Tuesday (Sept. 14). Sadly, she died five years ago at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning. In her memory, Adele wished the late singer a happy birthday on social media.

When Winehouse died on July 23, 2011, Adele penned a blog post in her honor, saying, "Amy paved the way for artists like me and made people excited about british music again whilst being fearlessly hilarious and blase about the whole thing."
