Danny McBride joins James Corden for a sketch on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Sept. 1, 2016.

Danny McBride and James Corden could have recreated any moment in time on during the Vice Principals star's appearance Thursday night's Late Late Show. Literally anything that's happened during the course of modern human existence. So, of course, the first thing that came to mind was reaching back to 1990 to revisit one of the pinnacles of pop music history: the unforgettable Grammy Awards duet between Michael Bolton and sax machine Kenny G.

With time-appropriate wigs, vintage audience reaction shots of Willie Nelson, Liza Minnelli, Brooke Shields, Boyz II Men, LL Cool J, Cyndi Lauper, Smokey Robinson and Michael Jackson, the pair jammed hard (but, actually so, so soft) on Bolton's "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You."
