Don't expect the singer's follow up to '1989' to drop this fall.

Though rumors have been spending that Taylor Swift's sixth studio album will come in October, her label boss Scott Borchetta says this simply is not true.

Borchetta, President and CEO of the Big Machine Label Group, replied to a fan's request for comment on the rumors Tuesday (Aug. 9), shutting things down with a one word response: "NOPE."

Since wrapping her 1989 World Tour late last year, Swift has been said to be taking a break.
