Andy Grammer proudly saved himself for marriage. But he had a little help.

The singer revealed the tidbit while appearing on The Talk Wednesday (Aug. 3), during a discussion about a new study that found younger millennials -- born in the 1990s -- are more than twice as likely to be sexually inactive in their early 20s as the previous generation.

"I actually waited until I was married to have sex," Grammar said. "That was not without some porn, unfortunately."

Grammer and his wife, singer-songwriter Aijia, got married in 2012.

The study said the decreased sex activity may be due to pressure to succeed, increased online socializing, unrealistic physical expectations encouraged by dating apps and concerns of date rape, according to the Washington Post

"I do think that, as a culture, we don't understand the effects of that. I think feel for men right now because it's never been this easy to do something so destructive to yourself," said Grammer. "It makes my heart sad that we don't quite understand how destructive that is, on a daily basis, that we can be doing to ourselves."
