Hailee Steinfeld and Taylor Swift may be friends, just not best friends.

Speaking with Seventeen for a new cover story, Seinfeld talked about her membership to Swift's squad, saying, "I think people think we spend a lot more time together than we actually do!" 

The Pitch Perfect 2 star added, "She's amazing, though."

Steinfeld also talked about her struggles with bullying while in high school and how it helped prepare her for her role in The Edge of Seventeen as an awkward teenager living in her older brother's shadow. 

She also discussed her rising music career, saying, "I want to make the best first album I can possibly make. And I want to get to a level where I can headline my own arena tour. I know that I can make it happen. It's just the beginning. I see the future being really big."
