Katy Perry, who has one of the largest Twitter accounts on the social media platform with 89 million followers, had her account apparently hacked Monday night (May 30).

The account started using foul and racist language in tweets, along with the hashtag "#HackersGonnaHack."

The account was quickly taken back over and the hacker messages were erased without any mention of what happened.
