"I realize people will be disappointed but I don't owe anybody a picture."

Justin Bieber is apparently over taking photos with fans.

The pop star posted a message to his Instagram on Tuesday (May 10) decreeing that he is "done taking pictures" and won't participate if fans see him out in public.

"It has gotten to the point that people won't even recognize me as a human, I feel like a zoo animal, and I wanna be able to keep my sanity," he wrote on the post. "I realize people will be disappointed but I don't owe anybody a picture. and people who say "but I bought ur album" know that you got my album and you got what you paid for AN ALBUM! It doesn't say in fine print whenever you see me you also get a photo."

Billboard reached out to Bieber's rep for comment, but did not hear back by publishing. 

In March Bieber canceled all his future fan meet-and-greets, saying they left him "drained and unhappy" from other people’s "spiritual energy."
