Adele Invites Irish Singers From Viral Video to Perform Onstage in Dublin: Watch
Last week Irish singers Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy got some solid attention online for posting a live video beautifully covering a number of Adele's songs in a single go. In response for the tribute, the pop star returned the honor on Sunday in Dublin by inviting the pair onstage during her concert to perform live.
"Oh come on, you can't put it online and me be in Dublin and not think think I'm gonna tell you to come up," Adele said, calling Scolard and Murphy onstage. "I swear to God they did not know that I was going to do this."
She then said that they had brought in "specific equipment" for the duo that night and asked if they would sing, before walking them to a grand piano and microphones. They performed a medley of "Someone Like You," "Hello" and "All I Ask," just as they had in the original video.
