Scooter Braun will creative executive-produce this year's Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA), it was announced Thursday (Feb. 25).
The family-focused music celebration will be held April 30 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles as it enters its fourth year.
"As a new dad, I'm excited to continue a longstanding relationship with Radio Disney and creative executive-produce this year's RDMA," said Braun in a statement. "Having been a recipient of the Heroes for Change Award and after several artist performances, I've seen the show grow over the last four years and look forward to joining forces in a new way to take 'Music's Biggest Event for Families' to the next level."
Braun is well known in the music business for building the careers some of music's biggest young stars, including Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jespen and Tori Kelly with his SB Projects entertainment and media company.
"Over the years, Scooter, SB Projects and its artists have been extremely supportive of Radio Disney," said Phil Guerini, vice president, music strategy, Disney Channels Worldwide and general manger, Radio Disney Networks, in a statement. "Scooter's had a tremendous impact on pop culture and is a visionary in the world of music. We look forward to collaborating with him on this year's show."
The Radio Disney Music Awards will air on May 1 in a two-hour telecast on the Disney Channel at 7 p.m. PST.
