Taylor Swift accepts the award for Best International Solo Artist winner at the NME Awards 2016.

Fresh off of her landmark second Grammy win for Album of the Year, Taylor Swift got the finger -- and it wasn’t from particularly dedicated Kendrick Lamar fans.

Swift nabbed yet another award from NME as the Best International Solo Artist of the year. Shaped like a hand flipping the bird, Swift responded to the “aggressive” statue the same way she has come to master any potentially negative feedback -- with class and a laugh.

“When you first open up the box, it feels a little aggressive. And then you get used to it, you put it on the shelf. You know what? I kind of like it,” Swift said in her acceptance speech video (she was unable to attend the ceremony). “First impressions were a little weird here, but now I understand that this is actually like a strange compliment. You’re like being cheeky about it.”

The only thing better than watching the 1989 superstar’s playful NME acceptance speech? Noticing her cat Olivia Benson in the background at 0:32. Watch the full video below.
