Katy Perry is one of numerous music industry superstars campaigning for Hillary Clinton. In a recent string of tweets, Ryn Weaver, an alternative pop singer on Interscope Records, made it clear she’s strongly opposed to both women.

Weaver voiced her views early this morning (Feb. 17) in a series of tweets, many of which have since been deleted.

The outburst was apparently triggered by Katy Perry tweeting about a concert she’s performing for the Clinton campaign:

In a since-deleted tweet (archived via Perez Hilton) Weaver opined, “LOLOLOL SORRY NOT SORRY OLEASE OPEN UR EYES. THIS TWEET IS IGNORANT IF NOT FUNDED BYE.” She followed with a link to a YouTube video of Clinton footage titled “Hillary Clinton Lying for 13 Minutes Straight.”

So what sparked her dislike of Perry? Below is a sequence of since-deleted tweets about how Perry and her friends supposedly disrespected Weaver at Coachella 2015.

Here is some of what (at publication time) remains of Weaver’s Twitter narrative.

Billboard has reached out to a representative for Perry for comment.
