Mariah Carey decided she belonged together with billionaire Australian casino owner James Packer and got engaged. And we could see why given the ring she was presented with.

Packer proposed with a giant rock -- a 35-carat diamond and platinum engagement ring, according to Vogue. Uh, yeah -- 35-carats. (For comparison: Kim Kardashian's was 15-carat, Beyonce's was 18-carat and Angelina Jolie's was 16-carat.)
The fashion bible reports that Packer enlisted jewelry designer Wilfredo Rosado, who's known Carey for many years and counts Julia Roberts and Olivia Wilde as clients, to create the blindingly big gem.

"She obviously has a strong point of view about what she likes," Rosado told the Conde Nast glossy. "We have the same taste, and when it came down to it, I really wanted to create something for her that was about new beginnings.
The jewelry designer added that the ring was "the most challenging piece of jewelry I've ever designed."
