Everyone gets Instagram happy once in a while, even the Princess of Pop. And fans ain’t even mad, but their brows certainly are furrowed.
Last night, Britney Spears started off her Insta-game strong with a shot of her abs in a “Mean People Suck” crop top.
The pop icon fueled her followers’ need for #goals -- but she didn’t stop there. A signed copy of the latest novel from her favorite author, Emily Griffin, and a dark, artsy shot of a girl sitting under a piano followed suit.

However, Spears fans lost it when she gave them more -- in the form of a gargantuan math equation.
“Whaaaaaaat” and “WTF Brit” seemed to be the general consensus on Instagram. From a math standpoint, Brit’s image seems to be a collection of multiple random equations that are seemingly meaningless. “Holy crap that’s a lot of equations,” said one Adrien Viani, an economic policy grad student at Boston University. “Honestly, it looks like a study sheet for a class.”

Earlier this year, Queen B did say she was taking math classes to help her sons out with homework. What Spears failed to mention was being besties with Albert Einstein.
The “Oops!...I Did It Again” singer posted another pic of Einstein, thickening the plot. Whether Brit’s found her true calling as a mathematician remains to be seen.
