Greyson Chance first got fans' attention thanks to a viral YouTube performance of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" back in 2010, with an EP, Truth Be Told, Part 1, following in 2012.

Chance's second EP, Somewhere Over My Head, will drop in early 2016, and today, Billboard can exclusively premiere the first single, "Afterlife."

"'Afterlife' represents a personal story and occurrence that took place in my life," Chance tells Billboard. "When you’re close to someone, and they try to make that jump towards the unknown, it affects you. I wanted to take that message along with a song that had a beat and a purpose."
