They say tragedy plus time equals comedy; for Louis Tomlinson, comedy plus time equals reality. After all, the One Direction member predicted becoming a young father three years ago… as an April Fools' Day joke.

"Can't believe I'm going to be a Dad! Wow!!" Tomlinson tweeted on Apr. 1, 2012. At that point, One Direction had just released its debut album, Up All Night, in the U.S., and had yet to string the words "Briana Jungwirth" together.

Also at that point, Tomlinson was joking. April Fools'! What a prankster! When news broke on Tuesday (July 14) that he and Jungwirth are expecting, however, 1D diehards remembered the 2012 joke and began retweeting it, leading to over 170,000 reissues of the hoax overall.
