"Lorde" made an appearance on Wednesday night's episode of South Park, "Gluten Free Ebola." We say "Lorde" in quotation marks because Trey Parker and Matt Stone didn't quite go through the trouble of doing a convincing impression of the New Zealander.

(If the Hulu video doesn't play, watch on YouTube.)

Yes, that’s Stan's dad, Randy, dressed in drag as the 17-year-old singer, though the kids can't seem to tell the difference. In the episode, Randy lies that he knows Lorde's uncle and says he can book her for the kids' party. He didn't think his plan through too well, and you can see where it ended. Lorde hasn't done much of anything to deserve such lampooning (maybe they weren't into her new Hunger Games song?), so we're left wondering what the joke is here. Perhaps it's simply "a middle-aged man is dressed as Lorde," in which case, we suppose all their jokes can't be winners.

The real-life Lorde is nearing the end of her fall tour with Majical Cloudz, which runs through Oct. 10. Check out Billboard's review of her New York City date here.
