Beyonce Surprises with Record Release Party at Dave & Buster's

Following her Dec. 19 concert at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, Beyonce celebrated the release of her new album in style -- amongst the prize tickets and glistening arcade games of Dave & Buster's.

After the show, Bey headed from Brooklyn to Times Square to party with a select crowd of guests, to drink to the success of "Beyonce," released without warning to a resounding reception Dec. 13.

"I just came out tonight to let you know congratulations to each and every one of you that worked on this shit, for real," proclaimed Drake, who collaborates on the album. "And of course to the queen, the utmost congratulations."

Party favors included light-up bow headbands (like the ones from the "XO" music video) and black tumblers marked with the album title. Famed Hoboken cake shop Carlo's Bkery (of the TLC reality show "Cake Boss") provided a custom cake designed like a record, also featuring the album title, along with miniature cupcake versions.

The new self-titled album sold 617,000 downloads in its first three days, through the week ending Dec. 15. It is expected to spend a second straight week atop the Billboard 200, with industry sources forecasting it to sell around another 260,000 copies in the tracking week ending Dec. 22.
