Aaron Carter Previews New Single 'Fool's Gold': Exclusive
Aaron Carter, now 27, first hit the Hot 100 when he was just 13 -- a child star riding the boy band wave that prominently featured his older brother Nick (Backstreet Boy and current Dancing With The Stars contestant).
Now, Carter is preparing to release his long-awaited fifth album (his last studio release was 2002's Another Earthquake). "Fool's Gold," previewing exclusively on Billboard below, is the first snippet of what's to come -- though currently unmixed and unmastered (and without label support), the single is an intriguing look at how the singer best known for his Radio Disney hits has evolved over the past decade.
"I’ve been working on new music for the last 10 years, and I’m beyond excited that I’m in a position where I can release my new album soon," Carter tells Billboard. "I’m traveling today to Deadmau5’s house for Thanksgiving, and I think it's only appropriate to show my fans a clip of the music I've been working on."
