Arianators rejoiced when Ariana Grande debuted "Focus," the first single from her upcoming album, first thing Friday, and then later that day, she performed the song live for the first time at Burbank, Calif.'s iHeartRadio Theater.

Grande took the Honda Stage in a costume she described as "a feminine Jack Skeleton." The singer performed six songs, including "Focus," as well as sitting down for an onstage Q&A. After screams from the audience and prompting from the host, Grande revealed that the vocal cameo on the newest single is none other than Jamie Foxx.

Grande was nothing but smiles and passion the whole night, giving credit to her new music for the excitement. "it's the beginning of the next step," she said of "Focus." "It sounds like 'Problem's older sister." For the singer, this single and performance represented a transition to the artist she's become.

"Focus" is from her album Moonlight, which is due out in 2016. It will be her first album since 2014's My Everything. "Focus" has already hit No. 1 on the real-time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart.
