The 19-year-old singer told the magazine that he was "definitely not" popular with girls growing up, insisting that it "came with the music!" (hard to believe as that may sound).

Mahone also talked about having a tough time in school, telling Attitude, "I was definitely picked on all the time." He added that "there were times [he] was bullied too," insisting to his fans that they should take action if they're ever in a similar situation. "I didn’t do anything about it, and I just kept quiet, which was a mistake," he said. "I think everyone should talk to someone if they are going through that sort of situation. I realize that now, so I always focus on surrounding myself with good people and friends.
