That’s a phrase Kanye West repeated multiple times during his passionate 13-minute speech at the MTV VMAs as he accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Don't forget that line just yet. It may be a contender for the official West 2020 campaign slogan. 

MTV Exec Producer Says Kanye Was Expected to Perform at VMAs

Immediately after the rapper finished his speech and announced that he would be running for president in 2020, Kanye West fans (Westies? Yeezus' Disciples?) took to the internet and began making campaign merch. Kanye West 2020 pins, “Make America Cray Again” hats, and even West/Swift t-shirts.

Yes, someone in the world of Etsy is vying for singer Taylor Swift to be Kanye’s running mate. Now, putting aside the fact that Taylor won’t be old enough to run for vice president in four years, this could eventually work one day.

The pair makes some music together, wins America’s heart as a duo. Maybe they try running for lower offices in the meantime (the age of candidacy for a U.S. representative is 25, so that’s your way in, Taylor!). Then, they make the official announcement at the MTV VMAs in 2027, where it all started for them.
