The pop star responded to rumors she was eyeing the £4.6 million Tower of Lethendy by posting a comment to Twitter that quoted her song "New Romantics," saying, "Cause baby I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me."

She added, "But I'm not actually buying a castle."

The rumors began earlier this week that Swift was interested in the 40 acre castle north of Perth, about an hour's drive from Edinburgh where her boyfriend Calvin Harris' family lives.

Tower of Lethendy dates back to 1570 as a Scottish Baronial manor house with eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms in the main house, as well as two gate lodges and two staff cottages. There is also an 18-hole golf course, heated swimming pool and tennis courts on the grounds.
