Years & Years’ debut album Communion is an indie-pop powerhouse, and the dance-starting “King” is on a shortlist for single of the year. Russian DJ Arty has decided to take on the effervescent single with this remix, premiering on Billboard.com:

The flagship act on Insomniac Records, Artem “Arty” Stoliarov counts Above & Beyond and Axwell as key inspirations. The producer says that he has some A-list collaborations coming, but couldn’t resist taking on “King” when he heard Years & Years’ Olly Alexander belting the shimmering pop single.

“When I got an opportunity to remix ‘King,’ it was no doubt for me,” says Arty. “Making a remix for a song like that gives you so many ways to go really deep and melodic with production. I've been playing my remix for the last couple of months and the response has been crazy. I can't wait to share the full version with my fans!”
