Chris Brown and Zayn Malik are now labelmates (both signed to RCA), and according to Brown, the former One Direction member is welcome to get in the studio with him "any time."

Zayn Malik Promises His Solo Album 'Will Be Amazing'

The Daily Mirror reports that Brown called Malik “my homeboy” in an interview with Capital FM that’s set to air on Sunday, Aug. 9. He went on to announce that he’s open to collaborating with him.

"Of course, of course [I'd work with him],” Brown is quoted as saying. “I don't shy away from anyone and I think he's a great artist."

"Now he's doing his solo thing. I know he has a huge fanbase and the fans are waiting to hear his stuff, so it would be cool to get down and collab,” he continued. “I'm not a hard guy to get in the studio with -- I'm on everybody's songs -- so any time."

Earlier in the week, Malik teased his upcoming solo release in a tweet to fans that promised it “will be amazing.” While there’s no word on specific album details, on Aug. 7, he confirmed that he is currently keeping busy in the studio.

Brown, meanwhile, recently collaborated with Rita Ora on the new track “Body on Me,” which is available via iTunes.
