One Direction's Liam Payne Feels 'Cornered Like an Animal' in New York City, Wishes He Was Harry Potter
Liam Payne may have been all smiles while rocking out with One Direction on Good Morning America Tuesday morning (August 4), but Monday evening he was struggling a bit with all the attention that surely has become a daily part of his life. He even wished he was Harry Potter, presumably because of Harry's Invisibility cloak.
In a series of tweets, he expressed his disappointment with how he was being treated in NYC ("cornered like an animal") and his hopes for future visits.
Why is it that in New York people think it's ok to swear and shout horrible things at you in the street...— Liam (@Real_Liam_Payne) August 4, 2015
Just because u don't feel like taking a picture because there's paparazzi chasing you and you want to get your family and friends home safe— Liam (@Real_Liam_Payne) August 4, 2015
One time id like to be able to see New York without being followed chased and cornered like an animal until other people get what they want— Liam (@Real_Liam_Payne) August 4, 2015

The sadness didn't last long: Early Tuesday morning, Payne was back to being excited to meet the fans, sharing a countdown to the GMA appearance.
