Taylor Swift kicked off the first of two 1989 World Tour dates in Chicago with more than one surprise for fans. On Saturday, July 18, she invited Andy Grammer and Empire actress Serayah to perform with her in front of a sold-out crowd at Soldier Field -- and, as a delighted Chance the Rapper revealed via Instagram, she also spent some time with him while she was in town.

Swift and Grammer performed a duet of ‘Honey, I’m Good,’ Grammer’s most recent single. “Everrrybody knew the words and it was SO MUCH FUN,” Swift reported. Watch a fan-filmed video of their performance below:

After the set, Grammer also posted a picture of the two, captioning it with “post show celebration on fleek.”

Meanwhile, Swift brought Serayah -- who plays Tiana on Empire, and appears as Dilemma in the “Bad Blood” music video -- to the stage to help her out on “Style,” which can be seen in a clip the actress put up on her own Instagram:

And Chance the Rapper, who dropped his surprise Surf album on iTunes in May, shared a picture with Swift alongside a short letter of thanks after the show: “Dear Taylor, Chicago loves you and you're welcome back anytime. Congrats on 2 back to back sold out nights at Soldier's Field of 55,000 people, and thanks for treating my friends so well.”

Only time will tell if Swift’s meeting with Chance could result in a future collaboration. She is, of course, very open about being a hip-hop fan. (Just a few examples, as proof: Kendrick Lamar’s verses on Swift’s “Bad Blood” remix, a duet of “Super Bass” with Nicki Minaj on 2011’s Speak Now World Tour  -- and let’s not forget her own rhymes on “Thug Story,” the T-Pain assisted “Love Story” parody that aired during 2009’s CMT Music Awards.)

Either way, it looks like she’s got a crew of new friends in the Chicago area.
