Wedding speeches have a tendency of going on too long and getting a bit too sappy. A couple sisters in California set about bucking that trend recently by performing personalized versions of five popular songs in just six minutes.

Maddie and Kelsey Hallerman toasted their sister Caitlin and her husband John Weaver at the newlyweds' Lake Tahoe, Calif., reception with reworked covers of Tracy Chapman's "Give Me One Reason," Jackson 5's "I Want You Back," Backstreet Boys' "Backstreet's Back," Michael Jackson's "Black and White" and the gospel classic "Oh Happy Day," detailing the events leading up to the couple's wedding.

Each song represents a different part in the newlyweds' relationship, as Los Angeles' ABC7 reports.
