You might already be familiar with Joanie Wolkoff as the former vocalist of Her Habits. However, the singer-songwriter is currently operating under her surname, Wolkoff, with a debut EP set to arrive this August. On the first taste -- the glorious one-off single “Going Back” -- the dynamo performer joins forces with Chicago producer/wunderkinds The Hood Internet – a.k.a. Steve Reidell and Aaron Brink. Meeting “over beer and smuggled-in baklava” at a country music night, the trio combined forces to create this banger of a synth-pop summer anthem.

Directed by Toronto-based filmmaker Matt Eastman, the clip features all found-footage of primitive ‘80s 3D animation – including robotic dinosaurs, alien landscapes, and – most importantly? -- dog wizard robots.
