Jamaican singer Tessanne Chin has long had an affinity for retro sounds -- after all, her breakout performance on season five of The Voice (which she eventually won) was a cover of Simon & Garfunkel?'s "Bridge Over Troubled Water."
Now, Chin returns to the 70's with her throwback track "Fire," a classic-sounding R&B tune that showcases her undeniable voice. The song has a Grammy Award-winning team behind it, having been written by Balewa Muhammad (Britney Spears, Ciara) and produced by Justice League (Mary J. Blige, Drake). "It's a soulful power anthem and a reminder to never sell yourself short," Chin tells Billboard, "to keep your standards high as well as your self-worth.
