CHVRCHES perform at the Billboard Studio in New York City

Remember that great cover CHVRCHES did of Janelle Monáe's "Tightrope" at Billboard's Women in Music Awards? Well, the Scottish synthpop trio is back with another great crossover cover, this time for BBC Radio 1.

They're putting their spin on Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River," the classic Timbaland-produced Britney Spears breakup song from JT's 2002 debut Justified. Check out the video above to watch Lauren Mayberry hit those high notes on the word "river" and Iain Cook and Martin Doherty transpose Tim's production onto their own electronic setups.

We loved CHVRCHES' 2013 debut The Bones of What You Believe, so we can only hope the Glassnote-signed band is in the thick of crafting LP number two.
